The Ying: Convenient location for quick stops to make self-service copies, prints, or faxes; or to pick up an odd needed office supply item. Staff is mostly friendly and helpful. Yet, there are plenty of other printing and office supply sources everywhere. The Yank: After doing personal business here for over twenty years, the staff mis-advised me and then refused to correct their error. I purchased an order of special-sized prints of a less desirable size after the print counter attendant told me that was all they were capable of printing. After I paid for the order when I picked it up the next day, I found out that they were capable of making the larger size I originally wanted. When I inquired why they previously advised me otherwise, and if they would re-print as I desired, they told me 'I don't know why the other employee told you wrongly; and "no" you will have to pay for a new order'. They had a manager call me later, who asked me a few questions then rudely hung up on me. I don't know why they suddenly had a couple of bad days, but I haven't been back since and never plan to return to any OfficeMax or OfficeDepot location.

Nice store. I mostly go here for their "full-service" print capabilities. Unfortunately the ability of the staff knowing how to use and adjust their color printer ranges widely; most do not know how to use it effectively. Most recent visit the (very nice) clerk needed help from a colleague right off the bat; tried printing my material face-up (have never seen a printer that worked that way before buy, hey, what do I know); she quickly learned when a blank sheet came out. ....he had to be told NOT to do the print run off of the proof - because copies of copies lose quality. (That's kind of Printing 101); ....didn't know how to adjust the machine for greater sharpness/clarity, etc. .... I left with only part of my order done and very dissatisfied. (This is on mgmt, not the young lady, who obviously had received somewhere between no training and zero training.).
